Summer Bike Camp 2021

We will be open for Pittsburgh’s only Summer BMX and Mountain Bike Camp for summer 2021!

We are taking measures according to CDC and local guidelines and including recommendations from international bicycle associations to keep your family and our staff safe during this time. 

We have implemented a mask requirement, social distancing strategies, intensified our cleaning efforts, increased air flow, modified our drop off and pickup procedures, implemented screening procedures for our staff and campers and adjusted our class sizes.

Banned Scholarship

Rickey Bates Summer Camp Scholarship

The Rickey Bates BMX Banned Together Charity will award it’s 4th annual scholarship to our Summer Bike Camp! They will be picking two riders to go to one week of our summer camp!

Every rider 16 years old or younger will get a raffle ticket each visit to the park in the month of May. At the end of the month the two lucky riders will be picked and notified. Any questions about the contest email Mike@thewheelmill.com.

Do you want your child to be safe riding around the neighborhood? We can have your child riding with more control and confidence in just one week of camp!

Is your rider a little more advanced than basic skills?
We can take your child’s riding to the next level with our Returners and Advanced Camp!

Our Facility and Instructors

Our 80,000 square foot indoor bike park is equipped with all the space and variety of obstacles needed to help your rider build confidence on the bike through progressive instruction. All of our professional instructors have years of experience and are ready to help your child ride to their fullest potential.
