Ride Like A Girl Winter Weekend 2018


The details:

Date: January 13th and 14th (Meet and Greet Friday, January 12th, 7pm).

Times: 7am-3pm (Saturday and Sunday)

Price: Weekend $140 or Day $75 (Includes lunch, swag bag and event t-shirt)

Who: Women of all bike styles and skill levels welcome. Must be 8 or older to ride.

Schedule (Saturday and Sunday):

7:00-8:00am: Check In
8:00-8:30am: Welcoming
8:30-10:00am: Fundamental Skills Class
10:00-11:30am: Skills Class 1
11:30am-12:30pm: Lunch (Supplied by Fischer Nutrition)
12:30-2:00pm: Skills Class 2
2:00-3:00pm: Challenge Hour

Instructions for Registration

Click the online store button then go to Ride Like a Girl Weekend Packs and pick what package you would like. After purchasing package it will prompt you to schedule, make sure to go to the dates 1/13 and 1/14 to book classes (Each class has limited numbers. Please make sure to schedule them all to get desired classes.)

Rental Equipment:

Need a rental bike, helmet or pads? We have limited amount of dirt jumpers, BMX and cross country bikes. To guarantee we have equipment for you, we recommend you reserving ahead. Email Chuck@thewheelmill.com to reserve your rental equipment. For prices and bike info, click this LINK.

Parking:

We have plenty of  parking. Here’s where to park if you’re unsure where to go.

Hamilton Avenue: There is street side parking available right in front of the building. The opposite side is a no parking zone. Do not block the sidewalk, fire hydrant or intersection.

La Schall Street: There is parking at an angle along the side of the building.

Kelly Street: There is parking lot available. Follow signs.

Ride Like A Girl Summer Weekend 2018

Information:

Date: TBA

Times: 10am-4pm

Who: Women and girls of all bike styles and skill levels welcome. Must be 8 or older to ride. For the outdoor Mountain Bike ride, any rider 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent.

Additional Details: For both classes, we will be offering indoor and outdoor classes. Saturday will be indoor classes. Sunday will be an outdoor class to take your skills learned in Saturday’s class out on the trails. If you cannot make Saturday’s class, please attend a Monday night Women’s Night and have Karen get your ready for the Sunday Class.

Park: The park will be open to the public but will have rolling room closures for classes.

Feeling nervous about trying new things in a big group? Not sure of your skill level? Come to Women’s Night at the Wheel Mill for a free skills clinic, every Monday at 7:30pm, anytime before the Weekend. We’ll help you get ready.
